mac.: tUrKeY dAy.

Happy Thanksgiving.

The day started out chaotic of course. Woke up at 7:45am. The alarm was set for 6:00am. So ya. We got our clothes on, grabbed P, then hurried out the door. Finally got to Tacoma for the Turkey Trot...only 5 mins late. Not bad but everyone had already taken off. We got our numbers & shirts then started jogging trying to catch up with the pack. We finally caught up. We may have taken a short cut...but in our defense we thought we were actually going the right way! It was cold but so fun, everyone with their holiday spirit running around. Paisley loved it...she's a people watcher. We finished, grabbed some post snacks and hot chocolate, then went home. This is our 2nd year doing the Turkey Trot and its a fun tradition that I hope we can do every year!

After we got home we seriously had like 1 hour since the late start to get ready and to make stuffing! So we hurried like the wind. I had never made stuffing before so had no clue what I was doing...but it turned out good in the end! Thank goodness. We went to Kirsten & Johannes's house and it was so fun! All my fam was there except Morgan, Austin, and riley :( We ate...way to much... talked, played around, my mom and dad gave the kids their Christmas presents since they wont be here for Christmas, had dessert, then finished the night off with a round of Cranium! Such a fun night. I love spending time with family! I miss having them around more often!
