As I went to lay Paisley down to bed she grabbed my shirt, had alligator tears rolling down her cheeks and said "no, no, no!" Which is strange because she usually goes down fairly easy. I couldn't just leave her there broken hearted!!! So I picked her back up, carried her to the rocking chair in her room, and sang her some primary songs. I sang probably 3 songs, looked down & she was fast asleep in my arms! IN MY ARMS. May not seem like a big deal to anyone else but she doesn't just fall asleep in your arms very often! I started thinking about everything I needed to do... so I probably should go lay her down...but I just couldn't. She looked so sweet and she wasn't always going to be this small or be able to fall asleep in my arms. So I just held her and watched her breath in and out. I seriously LOVE that little girl. She means the world to me! I feel so blessed to be her mom.

I DO know what you mean about the shock of a child actually falling asleep in your arms. I can count the times it happened with both of mine. only a handful!
